About Igbo Hearts
Founded in January 2015 by Dr. Obioma Lilian Ezekobe-Orji (A Medical Doctor with NHS) and Mrs. Jennifer Ozumba (An Occupational Therapist with the NHS), Igbo Hearts is a social enterprise dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Igbo heritage. Igbo Hearts Language School held its first class in February 2015 at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield.
Our Igbo language and culture classes have gone online, with more families, every month, participating on Zoom from across the world. A variety of teaching methods used include: role play practice, games/activities to reinforce learning.
