Wellness & Roots
Building Healthy Futures
Our Wellness & Roots programme is a transformative 52-week initiative designed to empower 30 young people (ages 6–18) by focusing on their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. This programme blends cultural education, health activities, and mental health support to create lasting positive change for participants and their families.
Programme Highlights:
-
Workshops Three Times a Month:
- First Half: Engaging activities such as football, dance, swimming, and cooking classes to promote healthy lifestyles, combat obesity, and encourage peer interaction.

Topics include health conditions impacting the BAME community, such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. These interactive sessions empower participants to make informed health choices.
